FAQs

How will my Items be posted?

All items are sent via Royal Mail.

Delivery takes two to three working days from the date I take the parcels to the delivery office.

If your order does not arrived within the expected timeframe then please contact me.

Can I buy if Iā€™m not in the UK?

International shipping is available for some countries in Europe and the USA.

If you would like to buy something but you are unsure if I post to your country then please contact me via email and I can give you a quote for shipping internationally. This is something I am more than happy to do and can easily be arranged separately.

Can I buy Twinn Pottery in person?

You can buy my work in store from a stockist however I do not current sell work directly from my studio. If you would like a list of my current stockists then please send me an email or follow one of my social media pages to be alerted when my wholesale work in going into physical shops.

How will my items be packaged?

All items will always be wrapped and packed in eco friendly materials. Where possible I use 100% plastic free alternatives, however I believe in reusing and recycling, so any plastic packaging you may find in your delivery is clean waste that has been rescued from being sent to landfill. You can also reuse and re-purpose it to prolong its useful life.

Mainly I use sustainable paper tape, recycled packing paper, biodegradable peanuts and boxes made from responsible sources.

Can I cancel, return or exchange my order?

If you decide to cancel your order prior to posting it can be fully refunded, however if you cancelled after items have been posted then they must be returned at your cost and received as sent before a refund is processed.

Once you have received your items I hope that you will treasure them forever but I understand that sometimes this may not be the case. If you feel that you are unhappy with your purchase then please do contact me by email to discuss. A refund is possible but the items must be returned at your own cost and in the same condition. If any damages/breakages incurred during return postage this will be the responsibility of the buyer.

What happens if my item is damaged or broken in the post?

Hopefully this wont happen as I always take care to wrap the work securely, however if you find your piece has been damaged or broken during postage please contact me by email. Send a clear photograph of the package and damage within 48 hours of arrival. I will assess the issue, discuss the process of a refund and claim compensation via Royal Mail.

How do I care for handmade pottery?

All pieces are dishwasher safe, but washing by hand is always recommended for any artisan made ceramic work. As with any ceramics general ware is expected over time but gentle washing will ensure the pieces have long and useful lives.

Can I order custom made or wholesale pieces?

If you are interested in a custom order then please email me to make your request. At the moment I am open to private orders of items that already appear in my current design style. Please note that I do not make things that are outside of that style.

If you are interested in buying my work as wholesale then please contact me by email to express your interest. I am more than happy to send you prices, discuss availability and explore making work directly for your shop or website.
